Serendipity: luck, or good fortune, in finding something good accidentally.

Serendipity is my all-time favorite word. I read somewhere, sometime, that we tend to gravitate towards words that sound like our name. Maybe that's true?! Or, maybe, as a writer, I believe that words are powerful and I love the idea that there is a little bit of magic in the way people and events synchronize at just the right time. So, whether you found me by accident or on purpose, welcome!

I'm a Gemini Sun, Leo Rising, Sagittarius Moon; which basically means, I love to tell all the great stories I've been part of...and I'm ceaselessly curious about how that connects us.

What you see, is what you get (except maybe my hair color, which tends to change with my mood!) If I've learned anything over the years, it's that showing up as anything other than myself is exhausting and unsustainable. Plus, there's no way to build trust if we aren't showing up as ourselves. Personally or professionally, I want to use my voice to create and nurture the trust that's necessary to build long-lasting relationships.

This blog came out of my experiences. Growing up in the city of Rochester, NY, moving all over the Carolinas, and finding my way back (what do they say about best laid plans?!) - one thing has stayed true, and that's my love of storytelling. As a kid, I'd get lost creating short stories in my bedroom and I was lucky enough to rediscover that love when I started professionally creating content. And now here we are! Who know what the future holds?!
